Center Cap Question

Does anyone know if you can swap the style of center caps for the 16" 6 lug OEM sawblade alloy wheels? For instance, if I have an older set of the 6 lug alloy wheels with the fake lug nut center caps, like these:

Can I swap them out for the newer smooth style caps, like these?

Just remember, gotta come from 6 lug wheels to fit your 6 lug wheels. The ones from 5 lug wheels are smaller.

has anyone ever tried on from a NBS rim? That has an emblem on it... it may look pretty nice... or might look completely messed up...
