cam on a 305 vortec what size and videos please

what size cam should i get for 305 vortec on my 98 silverado i want it lumpy but extreme just noticible please help would be great

on a 305 lumpy wont be close to streetable in my opinion. in my camaro i put in an lt1 cam, put an lt1 cam in my 355 i have now in my truck. they seem to react well and well mine were all free. just remember youll need to get it tuned afterwards.

to you or everyone else? 305s are good as a stock engine, the bigger you go the less streetable youll be. its an age old debate 305 vs 350. if you want noticeable power get a 350 if you want a better sound on your 305 with a little extra oomph do some exhaust work.

especially with a vortec youll have to get any cam swap retuned.
