turns out i had a pin hole in the line, i figured this out as there was some running down and leaking. so replaced line but still doesnt feel "right"

i figured as much, also im looking into hawk pads and rotors. do i need to bleed them again once i swap them out?Now you get the joy of trying to bleed all the air out of the system where you replaced the line.
That's likly why they don't "feel right".

thanks for the tips...looks like i got some more bleeding to doNot for a pad and rotor change.
As long as you don't open the hydraulic part of brake system, you don't need to bleed.
Once you get all the air out from your line change that is....
A proper bleeding job makes all the difference. I would run 2 qts through it and bleed all 4 lines.
