brake pedal?

turns out i had a pin hole in the line, i figured this out as there was some running down and leaking. so replaced line but still doesnt feel "right"

Now you get the joy of trying to bleed all the air out of the system where you replaced the line.

That's likly why they don't "feel right".

i figured as much, also im looking into hawk pads and rotors. do i need to bleed them again once i swap them out?

Not for a pad and rotor change.

As long as you don't open the hydraulic part of brake system, you don't need to bleed.

Once you get all the air out from your line change that is....

thanks for the tips...looks like i got some more bleeding to do

A proper bleeding job makes all the difference. I would run 2 qts through it and bleed all 4 lines.

I had this same problem in my 1993...

after bleeding it like crazy, we kept getting bubbles in the rear bleeder hose.... finally in a bout of frustration we pulled the wheel cylinder and noticed the flared fitting has cracked so slightly that air could be sucked in, but fluid could not leak out....

so not im nervous as all hell that I should check every single fitting that was wrenched on....
the 2 masters
the other wheel cylinder
the 3 rubber brake hoses
the rear axle junction block....

...this is why I loose sleep at night... LOL

attaempted to bleed my brakes today, everything was going fine then i went to drive my truck and in fact i belive the pedal got worse? repeated 3 more times and still terrible. now im stumpedd. what about the abs system?
