Looks like you got her all detailed up. Noice photo.

A little detailed; I noticed today I didn't get all the rubbing compound cleaned off the hood in a few spots so it's a white splotch I need to clean again.

Overall, I'm fairly pleased with my detailing skills. Although they're mediocre at best, I need to invest in proper equipment and junk like that.

Slight update time.

No big changes other than driving it; I still need to fix the coolant leak but it's slowed pretty noticeably now.

I've still got a shitton of wiring stuff to do, trailer plug, CB and antenna, 4Hi kit, and these new lights I picked up from HF. They're just sorta mocked up in this photo, I don't know if I should build a bracket or tack a couple of mounts on the inside of the bumper.

You can also see the new TYC replica headlights I installed, I did the 9012 low bulb conversion and it's awesome! I need to order 9011s now because no parts stores around here stock 9011 in house.
The old glass lights and the 9006/9005 bulbs are gonna go into the GF's Tahoe once I quit being lazy.

I also need to clean it as always. But when it's 90-92 degrees out when I get off work, it's hard to find that motivation.

No kidding, just wired in a CB this weekend too. I still need to do the 4-HI kit. So do the 9011 and 9012 bulbs just pop right in? Or is there a little bit of modification? If I can get brighter bulbs for night in the fall, I'm all for it.

And yes, the heat! We got 100+ with the humidity on Friday and Saturday, it sucked. I think you guys in the east coast are going to get the blast this week, sadly. :(

Was 87 here in upper MI yesterday and everyone's losing their collective minds. We came from 95 degree CO. Even with a little humidity I didn't notice it was 87, not really that bad but fun to hear people cry.

9011/9012s require a slight bit of trimming on one of the tabs, but then they just drop it. I compared mine to the stock 9006 bulbs for reference, marked it, and trimmed it. Only took me about 15 minutes.

Friday was ****** indeed.

I think this weekend was pretty rough for heat. Spent a lot of time in the junkyard too so that didn't help much.

That seems to be the common thing; I've got a friend who's dad goes to upper MI for business every couple of weeks and folks up there are blown away by the temps he talks about.
