Battery Gauge

So all my gauges stay at what they previously read the last time the truck was running. I assume it's normal on these trucks. But the battery gauge drops down like the picture shown below.

Does anybody else's truck do this? It's this an issue?

no idea but my coolant temp gauge works normally but when i turn off the key sometimes it pegs above 260 so i think its normal for the gauges to do weird stuff after being shut off

Same here with the weird temp gauge. I wouldn't worry about it, all of the 400's I drove showed low voltage with the key off, it is the others that seem to drift.
