Alarm light

I eventually want to get an alarm/remote start but for now I want to install a led light that will come on and blink when the trucks off and go off when the trucks on. I don't know if alarms come with them or not. How do they wire them up? I see most people put them in there dash bezel. That's what I want but not sure how to wire it in (not electrical savvy) so if anyone could help me out it'd be greatly appreciated!

Or you can use a relay that will feed power to the led when in key off position.

My Dash led "security led" is powered off the delco radio LED.

Lots of options you can use....
