I'm looking for a proportioning valve to run in line for the rear brakes for my 98 1/2 ton with a sf 14 bolt with the 13" drums. What size inlet/outlet should i be looking at? I'll be getting it from summit racing.
I see 1/8", 3/16" etc...
The rear brakes lock up under hard braking and I'm sure this the cause of the truck "hopping" at highway speeds.
The abs electrical is unplugged. So the abs is useless. I don't want to completely remove the system incase of state laws. I'm trying to sell the truck.
When I get one, should I install in the line after the abs system or tie it in off the master cylinder?
