I'm a fan of the infinity Primus series, very affordable and sound very good, even better with an amp on em. I'd definantly go with components tho, toss the factory tweeters and put in the component tweeters. Sounds good In factory location. As for the rears, every 4x6 is garbage, I've had just about every companies 4x6 and none cut it! I've been installing car audio for over 25years, 15 of which were at my own shop. If you are gonna go through all the trouble of removing all the plastics to put a speaker in the back of an OBS, get a good set of 4x6 plate speakers. About a 4" mid-range and a 1" tweeters will sound better than a dozen 4x6s and actually last. I personally end up cutting the factory grill out, put a fast ring between factory panel and metal of truck and mount the speakers from the outside if plastics. That way, if they do ever **** out they are easily replaced. If you are going to run an amp for your mids, honestly I wouldn't bother even hooking up the rear speakers , they r so small they just distort waaay before the fronts do and make it sound bad. I have 160 watts to each door and have a pioneer pro 6.5 and a pro 3.5 in each door and you can hear my **** a LOOOONG ways away
But I don't mind cutting and modifying my door panels, may more than you want to do , but even a small name brand amp that puts out atleast 50watts rms per channel will give you almost twice the volume of an aftermarket headunit.
