So been pricing a few this morning . No matter what even if this isnt the fix all, i gota get a new condenser anyway

auto zone / oreilly has the spectra or murray for 120.

1a auto has them for just under 100

ebay & amazon have some from 70-90… but im a little leary on warantys &
Such with them, and do they come with new o rings ?

Coworker has a chop shop, mostly does cars but has a few trucke too… anyway he has a couple condensers from 99-06 Silverado he will give me one if it will work. Any luck retrofit or should i just spend 100 & get the right one ?

Get the right one, even TBIs 88 - 95 had different ones with the orifice tube in different places. It's not worth it to cheap out on A/C systems especially, when you live in the desert

I can't say, you'll have to do the research. One thing I can tell you is the parallel flow ones (like in the Amazon add) are a much better design. The refrigerant makes 4 passes across the condenser instead of only 2.

A metabo, what drill, grinding wheel. Next time slide piece plywood in front, cheaper than new condenser..you do mean you knicked or damaged the condenser? Not the radiator. What year is your truck?
