AC stopped working

So been pricing a few this morning . No matter what even if this isnt the fix all, i gota get a new condenser anyway

auto zone / oreilly has the spectra or murray for 120.

1a auto has them for just under 100

ebay & amazon have some from 70-90… but im a little leary on warantys &
Such with them, and do they come with new o rings ?

Coworker has a chop shop, mostly does cars but has a few trucke too… anyway he has a couple condensers from 99-06 Silverado he will give me one if it will work. Any luck retrofit or should i just spend 100 & get the right one ?

Get the right one, even TBIs 88 - 95 had different ones with the orifice tube in different places. It's not worth it to cheap out on A/C systems especially, when you live in the desert :anitoof:
