What are some of the main issues with the 99-1500 suburbans with the 5.7?

Anything to be worried about ? Anything I should change as a precaution ?

All vehicles are different from each other. You can take 2 identical trucks and they will be some difference in them. I worked at 2 dealers in my life (years ago), and there is always one truck on the lot that will out perform all the others, and 1 that was junk. That being what it is , The 5.7L (350) engines are grate engines. They are the most after market supported engines ever built. There is nothing that plauges these trucks. Dexcool turns to crap taking out gaskets and cooling system components.
The factory intake gaskets suck. Replace with FelPro MS98000T.
The poppet injectors are a poor design. Replace with Delphi FJ10566 MPFI upgrade.
