97 suburban k1500 suburban trans issues

Hello. I have a 97 burb with the 350 and 60e. It doesn't shift into 3rd gear. So the 3-4 clutch pack is done. In looking for a rebuild kit. I found a tci master kit that includes all clutches and steels, gaskets, and band for 180. Or the same kit with the vett servo and a shift kit for 275. Is it worth the extra to get the shift kit on a stock burb. Its a dd family hauler. Thanks

I ordered the kit, assembly lube and a b&m drain plug as well as a universal spring compressor. Should be here this week. Still looking for an affordable bushing installer.

Got almost everything ready. Just waiting for the new torture converter to arrive. I'll do a full write up with pictures and maybe a few videos once I start to rebuild it.
