So, rented a hoist for the weekend and came to find out that the C1500 mount that O'Reilly sold me is not the correct one.
Have gone to all of the websites (Advance, Autozone, O'Reilly, Napa) and can not seem to find a match. O'Reilly has a universal one, but the picture looks like a clamshell which is different from what was there (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...hevrolet/k1500-pickup-4wd?q=Motor+mount&pos=0)
I have a hard time believing that this part would be difficult to find. Didn't they produce millions of these things?
Anyone have any ideas? Parts stores I have gone to in a small town outside of Indianapolis seem to be chalk full of people who think that they know what they are talking about, but they don't.
