The courtesy lights in my 97 Sierra are driving me crazy! The interior lights will work fine for a day or two, then out of the clear blue I walk away from the truck and they don't go out. At this point I have replaced the headlight switch on the dash and both door switches. Any ideas for other things to try? It never fails, as soon as I think I have it fixed, it does it again. I know there's a timer in there somewhere that keeps the lights on for like 20 seconds after you exit the truck. Could that be bad? And if so, where is it located?

Thanks!
Jeff

There is a lighting control module mounted to the side of the steering column support bracket on the right side, it's possible the relay in it is sticking. If you wanted to, it would be pretty easy to bypass the module with a single jumper wire and not have any timer at all.
