next was finding a dana 60, boy was that more difficult then i thought it was going to be. ended up finding a high pinion dana 60 out of a 79 F350 and had the dual piston calipers in great condition for $900 (they range from 800-1500 up here) i went through the axle to make sure everything was good to go.

next was finding a rear end for the truck so i went to a local salvage yard and got a 14 bolt FF out of a 2003 2500hd that way it already had the disc brakes and whatnot. had 4:10s and a G80 locker in it $500.

had to cut the spring perches off and move them in about 3/4 an inch both sides and that was it.

like the dana 60 i went through everything, new brakes, calipers, rotors, lines and fluid change.

i went on ebay for the cheapest, I didnt have power windows so I didnt feel like making pwer harnesses for them and rigging a switch up so it wouldnt look right so i went with pure manual ones, i think i payed around 180 on ebay. lcm has the same ones for like double the price. I dont have them mounted yet but everyone on here swears by them. Alot of people go through option racing, i did not...im not sure who i went through but the quality looks good. Be warned the glass vibrates very little though.

I like them, I have them on our new trucks and the visability is great, specially on our 4 door. at the very least I would upgrade to a newer style colormatched mirror
