I purchased a suction cup cell phone holder from O'Reilly, and not only did it not stay on, after only an hour it left a stain/discoloration where I had mounted it. I knew there was a small amount of substance on the cup to make it stick better, but did not anticipate it would leave a colored stain. I cleaned it very quickly with various products but it's not coming out. Needless to say I'm pissed, I've already sent a message to the company along with photos and expect them to reimburse me for a replacement glove box door- but does anyone know of a product that works magic on this plastic? I've tried 303 interior cleaner, vinegar water, windex, and alcohol wipes. I'm going to make an attempt with baking soda/hydrogen peroxide paste, but I worry about making additional discoloration. Thanks in advance!
