17k will buy a decent 2004 z71 3/4ton with the 6.0 or duramax in it. either of which push WAY more than 255 horsepower... on top of better gas mileage

17K you could build a big block RCSB truck with way more power, better handling, better brakes and interior than that. To me the collector trucks are those from the 50s, 60s and 70s, the 454SS is just another GMT400 to me.....to me, my truck is better cause its a 4x4 and a an extended cab
