Haven't had any problems with mine. If it spits out oil, something is creating too much pressure.

same thing I did, just remove it, toss it, then put a breather in the vc hole.

I tried a normal drop base open element air cleaner on mine and it would not work I had to buy a 1/2 raised base aire cleaner to clear without the ring.

and mine had no issues clearing the throttle bracket, it hit the coil and then the esc, egr and MAP sensor bracket.

same problem i had on mine, i havnt made mine open element like i planned yet, did urs still have clearence problems after making it open?... i plan on throwin a t/b spacer on it, to see if that will help, probly gna move the brackets and whatnot like shelby did

I have no clearance issues, I bought a raised base, not drop base, then I moved the coil, moved the entire bracket with the ESC and map and such, and had no issues with anything else that I can remember.

I have a push in breather too, and i have had no oil issue...
