92 step side axel swap

i have a 92 step side 2wd one wheel peel my neighbor has a 98 z71 4x4 rear end posi traction for sale I was wonder will that rear end fit my truck I want posi traction on my truck I have looked the internet over and can't find anything thing that relates close to that can anyone help my

It will bolt rite in although I think the 2wd axles are slightly more narrow.

4x4 rear's are wider.

They're about 3 inches or so wider. Don't forget if the ratio is different your speedo will be off.

X2. If you plan on being rough with it at all I'd look into a more reliable carrier than the factory G80s. Not sure how both of mine are still alive honestly...
