'92 1500 both blinkers come on in either direction?

When the left or right blinker is on, both the taillights flash. When the brake is applied while the blinker is on, the blinkers stop and they're dimly lit on the cluster. It just happen driving down the road, nothing unusual. Simple fix or should I start hunting for bad wires? Thanks guys

EDIT: hazards work as they should on a four corners of the truck

Just found the trailer Harness is about torn in half. Could this be the issue? 2 of the 4 wires are severed and the other 2 are exposed.
