'90 Automatic Shift Knob Removal?

The shifter knob on my '90 GMC is pretty torn up and I'd like to replace it. Does anyone know how/if you can remove it?

You have to replace the whole thing and unfortunately I don't know If they make a stock replacement

I removed mine its threaded on the inside. I used a box cutter and a big paid of vise grips. Tore into that bad boy but got it off. Had a beer tap on it for a bit but it was way to heavy so i stuck it on a jeep

Funny you say that, I actually have a beer tap I wanted to stick on mine too

Make sure its light weight cause it will make it drop down a gear if its to heavy
