We got the gears and posi all buttoned up. New axle bearings and seals installed. The backing plates bolted up. New parking brake cables installed. And one side of the new brakes done. Should wrap it up tomorrow.

I’m having a Love/Hate relationship with this thread. I love everything about this truck but hate that I don’t have some of the goodies.

We got the rear end all buttoned up and the garage cleaned up a little.
On to the front diff, leaf springs and few other things that need cleaning and painting.

It is an AAM cover with a fill port. I found it on JustDifferentials for $4. They were having a clearance sale and I found a few parts I needed.
