We got the gears and posi all buttoned up. New axle bearings and seals installed. The backing plates bolted up. New parking brake cables installed. And one side of the new brakes done. Should wrap it up tomorrow.

We got the rear end all buttoned up and the garage cleaned up a little.
On to the front diff, leaf springs and few other things that need cleaning and painting.

Excellent work! I'm always pleased when other people take the time to do things the right way. Is that a factory or aftermarket differential cover?

It is an AAM cover with a fill port. I found it on JustDifferentials for $4. They were having a clearance sale and I found a few parts I needed.
