89 K1500 rear axle.

Hey . My 89 K1500 SCSB has a extra set of spring perches on the rear axles. Was that rear end build for anther vehicle ?

Are you sure they're spring perches? There's a pad on each side that faces up; that's to contact the bumpstops on the frame.

If there really are extra spring perches, someone may have adapted that axle from a different generation of truck. I'm betting more likely though you're looking at the bump stop pads.
