There's no difference in a clutch from an '88-95 5 speed right? What am I missing here??

I have a '95 with a 350/4L60E at the moment.

I was originally planning on using an '89 5LM60 transmission and an Exedy 04064 clutch behind my 350ci, but the bellhousing cracked so I picked up a '92 tranny instead.

So now I'm using a '92 5LM60 transmission, and both Exedy's site and Rockauto list an Exedy 04128 clutch kit instead....it's $40 more expensive so I'd rather use the 04064 if possible....

The 04064 clutch is listed as "12 Inch Diaphragm Clutch; Disc mm 300; Disc in 11-3/4; Splines Dia 1-1/8; Splines 10" on Rockauto

Link, 04064 is the fourth one down: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1050804&parttype=1993

The 04128 clutch listed as "Pre-Damped; Disc mm 300; Disc in 11-3/4; Splines Dia 1-1/8; Splines 10"

Link, 04128 is the 8th one down : http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1050927&parttype=1993

So my question is, can I use the cheaper '89 clutch behind my '95 350ci with a '92 5LM60???

I ran into the same thing swapping a nv4500 into one of my trucks. The parts store had one for a older model listed $50 cheaper. We pulled them out of the boxes and everything was identical.

That's what I figured it'd be. The only difference I noticed was the two small rings or bearings, what are those? The one almost looks like a pilot bearing

The kits usually come with a pilot bearing. Looks like they put a bearing and a brass bushing in the pic.
