I switched to the 2wd valance after installing the body lift....I think it looks cleaner with than without..

I don't think I can run one with my new bumper, so I voted no haha. I've never run one. Had 3 GMT400's, only one had it on when I got it. I would trash it off road anyway.

i made one out of diamond plate aluminum painted black with one of the flamed grille inserts off of the old grille from our 99 silverado attached to it I cut the ends to follow the angle of the core support mounts so it covers those and the center of the truck and doesnt interfere with my plow mounts

I ran no valance for a while but it just doesn't look right without one. I have a 2WD valance on mine now.

I vote no valance. I removed mine and painted the visible frame and steering components. I think it looks cool being able to see the camber links and skid plate and frame. Plus it makes a stock truck look lifted.

I believe he means TRE's. Hes painted them, and with a valance people couldn't see them. That's my guess at least.
