I'm swapping my 4l80 for an nv4500 on my 98 Silverado. The 4l80 is in perfect condition and my buddy has a 69 blazer with a 400 small block and a 700r4 that he's sick of. Can we make this 4l80 work behind his 400? Does it have a separate control module from the engine? If not can I get one for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
