I recently swaped out my 230K mile 350 with a 383 with vortec heads. I put the same parts in it as a HT383 the GM offers. I am running a edelbrock performer and adaptor plate with my factory 350 tbi. It seems to run very rich even with the factory chip.
Specs, 95 chevy 1500 5speed
4X4
Fuel pump is a 96up vortec one
Have adjustable fuel regulator on tbi backed out all the way.

Waiting on my heated O2 kit. Hopefully that will fix my running rich problem.
Is it possible to run this with a factory chip for now with the factory tbi?
