I'm a high school teacher in Texas and I've managed to get one on the last GMT400 for my students to work on. It is going to be a long term project and we're going to be asking lots of questions.

Greetings LionPride,

Welcome to the GMT400 forum!

This really feels like a good fit! There's a lot of talent in this forum, comprised of
folks from all walks of life, from new enthusiasts to some old salts who have
decades of experience. The best part is that everyone in here seems predisposed
to help wherever they can.

Part of the reason why I decided to post a reply to your post is that your new
teaching platform is a year newer but visually a near twin to my '99 C2500.
(Chore Truck Functional Renewal thread)

Be sure to tell your students that in terms of sheer Bang for the Buck these
old work horses are right at the top of the heap. Takes world-class engineering
to make something that you can still work hard 24+ years after the fact.

As others have already mentioned, make sure and start a single 'build thread',
so that we know where the Lion Pride folks are hanging out.

Very cool. Looking forward to those questions, along with sharp photos so we
can virtually work shoulder to shoulder with the Next Generation talent. :0)

Cheers --
