Well my dad bought a 1998 Chevy Silverado (C1500) a couple weeks ago for $2600, and the reason he got it for so cheap was because the body has 210K miles on the body (it shows) and 110K on the motor and transmission. The plan is to lower it 2/4 so he can put his harley in the back. We are going to strip the body down to the metal and repaint. Then build a carbed motor either a 383 or 454. This build is going to take a while since me and my dad are states away from each other and he can only do so much by himself. Here are some pictures of the truck when we got it.

Went out and bought a MIG Welder from home depot. My smooth front bumper from LMC came in, but it is going back because it is bent and wont fit. I am going to be putting the tailgate relocator on tomorrow, and I'll post some pictures of that.

They are 20" rims, they came with the truck and are all pitted from extended time with brake dust sitting on them. The tires rub like crazy up front.
