Okay, so i have a 1997 Chevy C2500 with no DTRL's that i'm having trouble with.
the voltmeter stays right at 14V until i turn the headlights on and then it goes straight to 9 volts and the lights are VERY dim. The high beams work perfectly fine, and the other running lights work as well. Only having problems with the low beams...
Battery is new, - TESTED GOOD
Alternator is stock - TESTED GOOD
Bad switch or do i need to look at the headlight grounds/ live wires for a possible problem in the wire.
Only modification i've done is wire in halo lights and cab lights, (on completely different switches unrelated to the headlights/running lights.
