Kinda strange that it has leather and a floor 4wd shifter and 245 tires. Usually leather ones have push button 4wd and 265 tires. Maybe it was ordered with out the off road pkg???

not at all. 2wd are much more rare.

They didn't offer the Z71 package on Tahoe's until the 99/00 unless there is another off road package I'm unaware of.

hmm i'm thinking maybe they offered it on the 98 too. i've looked at a lot of 98/99 2 doors over the years. 2000 Z71 was only a 4 door. all obs tahoe in 2000 were 4 door actually. almost every 95+ LS or LT 2 door i have ever seen has had push button 4wd and 265 tires regardless of year. most of the manual floor 4wd and 245 tire 2 doors i have seen have been base pkgs. just my observation.

z71 was optioned on them starting in 95 but a hoe never had the stickers on the side
