Floors are really darned good. I found 2 small rust holes on the passenger side. I'm kinda glad now because I won't have to worry about cutting a pristine 55 year old floor pan if I need to.

Lots done today. Alternator installed. I had to order the bracket on eBay. Stupid expensive for what it is. It appears the engine was originally yellow. Neat.

I'm reminded again that I'm not a welder or fabricator. 1970 Mustang gas tank mostly installed, but I ran out of welding wire. It's not square or level, but it's close enough.

I've always liked the look of those old Chrysler alternators.

How about pressure washing that engine comaprtment to show off more of the yellow engine?

Hardly any yellow left. It's mostly rust colored now.

At least your welder works, mine ran out of life a week back. Yellow is interesting as a color for an engine, I'd think it would be red or something.

Speaking of colors ...

Even though I'm 99% sure I'm keeping the Patina look. Mopar had some really cool colors back in the 60's and 70's. Sublime, Lemon Twist, Plum Crazy, etc. I wonder what it would like in one of those colors.

I don't know what happened to the automotive world in the last couple of decades but the colors of most vehicles are boring.
