Lots done today. Alternator installed. I had to order the bracket on eBay. Stupid expensive for what it is. It appears the engine was originally yellow. Neat.

I'm reminded again that I'm not a welder or fabricator. 1970 Mustang gas tank mostly installed, but I ran out of welding wire. It's not square or level, but it's close enough.

Speaking of colors ...

Even though I'm 99% sure I'm keeping the Patina look. Mopar had some really cool colors back in the 60's and 70's. Sublime, Lemon Twist, Plum Crazy, etc. I wonder what it would like in one of those colors.

I don't know what happened to the automotive world in the last couple of decades but the colors of most vehicles are boring.
