I have a 1997 K"1500" 4x4 6.5L TD Suburbaas going to drop $700 on a disc brake conversion kit, but then a buddy suggested a used axle could be a cheaper option, and I was also thinking about a full float swap as well, anyways. But I can't find info on the newer 14 bolts, I found an '05 2500 6.0 2wd full float that I would like to swap, but I'm not sure if the shock and or leaf spring mounts are the same(Although I have a welder so it's not a deal breaker if they aren't) but more importantly I'm not sure about the axle width. And what 14 bolt full floats if any, that have disc brakes would fit, if not the one I'm looking at? Was also wondering if my wheels will still fit with the hubs that stick out?
