13" brakes on a 14bSF?

Yep, I put the 6 lug drums (and shafts) on the 8 lug housing and they were not even close to touching the backing plate.

Could still do a disc swap. Might net you more braking power without having to go bigger.

There's a lot of hills where I live, it's worth it for me to keep the better parking brake of a drum over a disc swap.

I wound up getting a full floater though, so need to figure out something different to get 6 lug...

I think the pad and spring mount spacing is different between the 2 generation of trucks, but I don't think that's hard to correct.

I remember seeing a kit several years ago that took a 14bFF, converted it to disc brakes and 5 or 6 lug, while narrowing it in the process.

I'm 99% sure this was intended for jeeps but you might look into it.
