Minus the 411 pcm that seems to be held up in transit. Wonderful service provided by usps… also decided to go ahead and grab an AC Delco water pump while I’m at it.

Those LS6 springs will coil bind at 1.200". If you install at the Vortec 1.700 or 1.720, I forget, that .525" of lift will not fly. With .050" offset locks you may only have .025" to coil bind. Unless those retainers gain you coil bind clearance too? Also, those rockers have been known to suck. Don't get the wrong idea, I didn't come in here to **** on your mods, but I don't want to see you find this out the hard way either. Have you done headers and junked the 1 7/8" headphones yet? That's the other part of the 350ish hp equation with the LT4 cam.

I've been collecting parts over the last year. My appointment with the speed shop is 5/28. Pulling the heads weekend after next for the pushrod holes to be notched for 1.6 rockers by a local machine shop as well as standard cleaning/lapping, replacing seals, install LS6 springs with the comp cams retainers and locks. Taking the following week off to put it back together. Besides the rockers I'm swapping to the 395 cam using Elgin stamped 1.6s (the 1418s seemed priced high for what they were and I don't see rollers doing much on a low revving truck motor), Gibson GP102sc shorties, EFI 24X ignition, and last but not least a marine intake. Started as just to do a marine intake which I secured last year but didn't get it ready for install until December so a winter delay. "Just one more thing" turned into everything else while prepping my intake. I've had a 411 pcm for more than a year so at least that is done. Hoping for +50 to both torque and hp on my otherwise stock 98 k1500 5.7L. Speed shop is only doing the tune (hopefully). I want to see what a modernized 5.7L can do but still wanted it to drive like a truck. I'll find out soon enough.

Full roller rockers or you are wasting your money. Friction reduction is at the roller fulcrum, not the tip.

I had a very similar mod list once upon a time on my 5.7L. I had 2.02/1.60s in my canadian 906s that, were milled 0.020" and installed with a 0.016" steel shim head gasket. 395 cam with 1.7 full roller rockers. Put down 257 hp and 310 tq on 91 octane. On E85 put down 272 hp and 330 tq. Through a 4L85E and 9.5" 14-bolt. Had a duramax mechanical fan on it as well. 24x with D585 coils and an early 8.1 DBW throttle body. Stock 5.7L made 185 hp and 250 tq through a 4L60E and 8.5 10-bolt on the same dyno. Big jump in torque came from thorley tri-y headers.
