I was wondering if someone could give me a 1/4 miles estimate. I timed my truck and it does 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. Never brought it to the track but curious what id be running

my 02 civic si went 0-60 in right at or around 7.0 and i ran likea 16.0 quarter...now know that that 0-60 is from the net and probably a better driver than me so their quarter is probably faster than mine...also obviously its a civic so big wight difference

all in all id assume maybe a hair over 16 seconds

Haha I used to love beating the snot out of civics at the strip when I had my blazer it would run a pretty consistent 14.7 in the quarter... the look on people faces when they get beat by a grocery getter is classic lol

It's hard to calculate 1/4 mile from a 0-60 time. 0-60 may be great with nice low gears or an engine that has most of it's torque down low. the problem is when you get out of that range the engine can "lay down" and make your 1/4 times longer than you would think based on a 0-60.

My 7600lb diesel is 9.57 sec 0-60 but 1/4 is 17.7 at 88 mph. Lots of grunt out of the hole but my 4:10's limit the top speed and as such, the overall et....

0-60 has little to do with 1/4 mile on a brick shaped object.

my f150 does 0-60 right at 5 seconds, but only runs a high 12 1/4 mile, 600ft/lbs of torque gets it moving from a stop quick.
