How To: LED Map Light Conversion (Overhead Console)
I did this too actually, but I used three superbright leds with the built in resistors for 12v systems. I like the bulb you used though. Mine actually all burnt out but one. I wonder how good the resistors were. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Mind you the one superbright led is...- mjleg

Hey Random, but did you do the four high mod? I did, and what ever I did with the wiring ( :) ) the lights turn on and the relay clicks them off. Maybe...?- mjleg

USB vs CD
I picked up the MVH-8200BT recently. I wouldn't recommend it just because of the user interface but aside from that it is nice. I've gotten used to the ridiculous button pushing. Anyway, my point of this is it has no CD player. I wasn't sure what I'd think of it but to be honest it is great...- mjleg

cool, ya I was so excited to find the back clips, and I thought it would be a walk in the park. Apparently not. I will try tomorrow. I trimmed the front mounting "slot" to. It was touching the roof but in the middle of the console there was a gap... Can't wait to get this up!- mjleg

Rear shock question
I personally have never added a body lift to my truck. But I know that when I've changed shocks, they can get pretty damn long. I would double check sizes, but I imagine with 3inchs you'd be okay. I know some shocks give an extended max and compressed sizes in inches. So grab a tape and check.- mjleg

6.5 turbo diesel dies while driving
Fuel filter? Crazy enough, I used to put farm diesel in a Jetta we had, and wasps made a nest in the fuel nozzle, well I pumped some in to my fuel tank and had some random shut down issues. Needless to say VW was shocked to find bees stuck in my fuel lines...- mjleg
