    just ordered new senders from the local parts store, apparently there is a difference between the senders for switch/light only and the full gauges. there is surprisingly little online about this swap.

    I found a swap thread on another forum that the FItech system has a holley style TV cable linkage. I don't do anymore off roading than a rough fire road, and I don't tow anything. With this sort of power increase is it really going to be worth the hassle and expense of swapping in a 4L80E...

    I'll reserect this thread since I just did this swap. My truck appears to be pre-wired for all of the 5 gauges, as they are all working just by swapping the two clusters. Only downside is that my truck now has another 143,000 miles on it because the cluster came from a really high mileage...

    It's been a long time since I built the 355, bit if I remember right, it had flat top pistons with valve reliefs. Which I'm calculating based on standard estimates to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 10:1 compression.

    anybody used one of these things? It certainly is pretty reasonably priced and seems like a simple solution to really upping the HP of our trucks without the hassle of doing all the TBI mods and fooling with a computer chip tune?
