And hopefully I was fortunate to find a early 2013 6l80e that looks to have been gone through previously. The billet convertor and painted trans case point to that

Is there no flex plate available for gen 1 engines (originally 10.75") with the correct PCD bolt pattern for the 6l80 (11") that could just be swapped out? If that were an option the stock 6l80 converter would just bolt up.

Fra704 by pioneer or gm pt #12557587 specs as follows
  • Pitch Flywheels: 12 ; 7 bolt holes ; Torque converter mounting hole spread: 11 inches Teeth: 168 Outer Diameter: 14.13"
OEM application would be a 2005 4.3 L blazer with a 4L80E. Does anyone have an opinion one way or another with regards to this flywheel for a 6l80 utilizing a stock torque converter?

Additionally since the transmission is slightly off of OEM dimensions and 4l80/ th400 output shafts do interchange with 6l80 this may be abuse to reuse OEM drive shaft from 700R4 applications or 4L60E applications

Hopefully I have found the final piece of the puzzle. Jim at Zero gravity maintains that pin 16 on the trans is speed output. The block diagram from Powertrain Control Solutions shows output 41 as speed output. A number of people over on Performance Trucks have tried both. Neither have worked to keep the ABS, cruise and speedometer ALL working. So I've found a differential mounted reluctor that uses the same vss that the 4 x 4 transfer case uses. Here's a pic of the reluctor ring mounted on the differential. So things should be happening soon!
