No news can be good news too. :deal:
That’s true. My uncle was there yesterday and said he didn’t see it outside. He didn’t look in the service bays, though.
Especially if they are like the shop I occasionally use. 9 times of 10, its done and waiting for pickup but they haven't called unless you requested a call.
Yeah this one is like that on occasion. Sometimes they have it ready but don’t have the bill written up and just mail it to me. Good small town place.
Are they doing the alignment too?

Coincidentally, I just skimmed over the headlight alignment procedure in the gm manual yesterday lol

I have a hard time finding flat walls I can get far enough away from around here. :nono:
Yeah alignment and brakes. I’m sure they have a Tech-1 laying around to bleed the ABS. I’ve got a large out-building on the property that I rent and I use that to align them. I should read the procedures.

I usually drive up to Walmart and mark off the side of the building with tape.
I always forget about Walmart. It’s in the next town over.
I should read the procedures.
Daniel Stern has a technical write up too. I liked the one in the gm manual because it had clear instructions and a picture of a truck!

Thank you very much for posting! I was taking photos for future reference. The composites look like a breeze to adjust.

I like having the physical manuals but having screenshots for quick reference stuff like this is more gooder
Agreed. This whole year I’ve been flipping through my service manual and taking photos. I’m tempted to print off a PDF at Staples and have it spiral bound. Mine is simply too nice to take into the garage with greasy hands.

Probably have 50 photos of torque specs, assemble/disassemble procedures, etc. saved on my phone. The FSM is one of the best investments I ever made. Along with the wiring diagram supplemental book.
