Those were the prototype wheels for the '99/'00 Tahoe Z71. They never put them into production on the Tahoes. And I don't recall who they were sourced from. Chances are extremely high that they went out of production several years ago at the latest. American Racing has discontinued 95% or more of their 90s era wheels for trucks. Eagle Alloys is out of business. Most everyone still in business have moved to the new era, big, crappy looking wheels with fake beadlocks that are just awful.

Just came to to see 100% this!

I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket wheels on these trucks either, as most of them look too flashy or look like $hit. However, I did find some that I actually like and I'm planning on putting on my K1500. They are Mickey Thompson. You can't go wrong with Mickey Thompson.

I was just lamenting the lack of good wheels in my head when a random thought wandered in.

"It's a shame they don't make Ansen slots that fit our trucks. [pause] Wait a second, how do I know they don't? Lemme google that..."

I don't know which I prefer, the Torq Thrusts or the Ansens. I like the Torq Thrusts better, but they're so common that they fade into the background.

Why wont those work on a 4x4? Says C1500 only, did they change something for the 4x4's? Those are the exact rims I've been thinking of for weeks and have thought of putting on my Sierra

I don't like these new Ansens. At least in pictures, they don't look right. I think the center is thinner, or something. I've been looking at them recently, becasue I've found some originals that I may try to purchase for my LeSabre.

4wds are 6-lug, and 2wds are 5.
I had a set of 'em in 6 lug a while back.. tried them on the C2500LD but it was too low for them to fit correctly. I had temporarily swapped 6 lug rotors back on just to see. They were brand new other than having tires mounted up on a project that had never seen the road, still had the blue on the white letter Hankook Ventus 275/60's. Used the tires on the gold '93 extended cab I built, sold the wheels to a customer at the shop. Primo!

Can anyone identify these wheels for me please?

Here you go:

Looks like you can contact "Mr. Mike" at https://vintagewheelcatalogs.com/ to look up a model number in the 1997 catalog and continue your treasure hunt.

From the webpage:
"Can you help identify a wheel? Sure, please send me a pic and any details you know about the wheel and I will see if I can find it in any of my catalogs."
