I wanted to share the dash switches I’ll be installing soon. I’ve always liked the idea of having a switch to turn the DRLs off, what better switch to use than the factory Police Package switch. My Z71 came with factory fog lights and the switch, but I added some KC lights to the grill guard, so I found this Aux Light switch for them. I have a lot of wiring to do but I’m looking forward to it! I’ll update with pics as I progress.

Is that an actual switch to turn off the DRL's from the factory or did you make that? If you made it, nice. How'd you replicate the factory text? I've got some factory appearing switches in my truck that I'd like to relabel.

It’s a factory switch out of a Police Tahoe. It’s function is to kill power going to the DRL module and also kills power to the radio. Obviously I won’t be wiring it up to kill my radio though lol.

these switches are very hard to find around here, not many of those police tahoes left it seems

I spent an hour last night scrubbing ebay.... nothing!

They do occasionally show up here & on F/B Marketplace.
If they do appear on Ebay, they're gone almost as fast as they're listed.
They are very very rare.
Even the guys that search out & collect (hoard?) the various switches, & may have 5, 10, 20 fog light switches (Think I'm exaggerating? #Z71Hobbs! Lol!) they might, MIGHT, have one DRL OFF switch.
In almost 20 years of owning these trucks, I have never actually had one in my mitts, let alone see one other than in pix.
But...Canada. Pickin's are a little slimmer up here. Even still, figure I would of found at least one in the three local P-n-P's by now!

I have over 20yrs working in salvage yards & have only seen 1 police Tahoe & we get alot of old police vehicles when the locals units get new rides.
Maybe the old police Tahoes get adopted by the cops for personal vehicles, kinda like retired K9s.....

Quite possible
I know my cousin said he'd like to have one of the retired Tahoes from the police department he works for ( he runs the shop and has done the equipment upfits on the last 2 generations of trucks they have). A large suburb of Houston, so they're not totally trashed like the big city trucks.
