    GMT800 4WD T-Bar Keys in 2WD GMT400?

Agreed. In fact, the Thrush welded is what I recommended he pick up for $40-ish. I'll cut the suitcase out and we can clamp it in with a coupla short sections of pipe to make up the difference (that I prolly have laying in my garage). He wants to go up in the front to level the stance and...

    GMT800 4WD T-Bar Keys in 2WD GMT400?

He really just wants to get rid of the steep front 2wd rake and make it sound a little better. Not crazy modded. He's not a huge "car guy". I know him thru Scouting and he knows I am an enthusiast and decent with a wrench so he came to me for advice and help. Sent from my XT1254 using...

    GMT800 4WD T-Bar Keys in 2WD GMT400?

My comment on that video: Stoopid Kidz. That sounds like straight poop. If you want an "aggressive" sound, do it right. If you're 17 and don't have any cash, save some. Don't spend it all on other stoopid chit. Personally, I would recommend the Gibson Super Truck, with the...

    GMT800 4WD T-Bar Keys in 2WD GMT400?

Trying to help a young man out... He's 17 and an Eagle Scout... His grandfather gave him a near mint 98 C1500 Burb with barely 100k on it. It's bone stock. He'd like to make it more "his" so I offered to help him out if I could. I've got a set of 1.5" rear lift blocks left from my 96 K1500...

Rough Country 2-3" as junk as everybody says?

Z28... Is quick to type, bash, and not give any real info. Is the RC kit a $1000 lift like you said? Not even close. Is it more than functional? Absolutely. Using the re-indexed torsion bar keys , IMHO , is better than just cranking the hell out of the stock ones. They are easy enough to...

    Treadwright Nightmare

Sounds like they really went to crap after the sale and relocation. I ran a set of their BFG AT look a likes for several years on my old F150 and they were great. Easy balance. No weird instructions. Came on matching BFG AT casings. Prolly put 10k miles on them before I sold the truck...

    99 burb Vortec No Crank

Having similar no crank no start no click issue with my Burb intermittently as well. Battery good. Pulled and put on tester... shows 14+ static and 11+ under test load. Alternator tests good as well. Has eaten several starters in the past 10k miles. Gonna mess with relays this afternoon.

    1996 Burb Ground Locations?

Been chasing frustrating electrical gremlins on my Suburban ... Working on checking , cleaning , re setting grounds today. So far I have the strap down near the starter, the small one to the inner fender near the battery and the large one to the bottom of the timing cover. What ones an I...

    2000 GMT400 Tahoe Z71 Specs Confirmation

I called the seller and asked him if he could send me a photo of the RPO tag in the glovebox. Will look to see if it had the tow package, the g80, the 3.73's and the coolers.

    '93 K1500 Rear Drum Brakes

When I do rear drums I always do rear spring hardware just no matter what. And more times than not will also do new wheel cylinders and end "soft" lines. They are cheap, easy to install since you have everything apart, and are going to have to bleed the brakes anyway. I debate actual DRUM...
