How Much Can YOU Haul IN 1/2 Ton???

Ill never haul enough to bend my frame haha, I just want the lift and it not to squat so easy. I plan on a 3/4 ton in a couple years anyway

Yes sir I got the 3/4 ton springs and they are about to go on here in a little bit!

If it's an 8600 lb GVW, yes the frame is heavier. There are light duty 2500s that I believe have the same frame as a 1500. And the springs are much more rugged unless the 1500 is an HD with the F44 package.

Finally someone get is. Add springs and axles all you, Its still a half ton..Only way to make it haul more is to buy a bigger truck.

I know what your saying man for the real loads we have my dads Mega Cab. For most of the stuff I do I just use my truck because I like to put it to work!

Yeah the frame flex on those half-tons is horrible. But strengthened up a bit with springs and some frame bracing, they aren't too bad.
My eclb won't flex at all with 2000 lbs in the back, my half ton rclb looked like a bent tree limb with 1500 lbs loaded on.

The amazing thing though, is how long they'll take it. They just spring back into shape and get back to work. Kind of like stretching when you get outta bed in the morning

The half ton fords of these years frames flew ALOT worse than the gmt400's do. I speak from experience. I bent my ford's frame
