You honestly can't call the "eBay" headlights, since eBay does not produce them, to be truthful. :D The manufacturers, such as Winjet for example, produce them and sell them on eBay, not any different than buying them on Amazon, CarID, RockAuto, etc, just occasionally cheaper. Anyhow, I got the Winjet Halo Projector lamps from imotorsport on eBay, I absolutely LOVE them. Nothing bad at all to say about them, they beat the hell out of the clear lights I got on StylinTrucks, very durable thick plastic, fit really well, no wobble or movement in them, I just love everything about them.

I have headlights that i purchased on ebay and the fit and finish is far below factory. I had to take them apart and reseal them, i had to get the dremel out to make them fit properly, it was kindda a PITA. But i finally got them looking good. The key is to remove your grill and them install them.

I thought I was gonna have to swap my brackets over but mine fit up great right outta the box, I didn't even have to adjust them any at all. Weird I know but I just took them out of the box & bolted them right up new bracket & all. Light output is in the right place, beams aimed correctly, everything was truely a plug & play install.

I bought mine off amazon i believe. Probably the same quality as ones you would get on ebay. I have had no problem, and actually really like the way they fit.

Alright, lets clear this up.

Deluxe grille (4 bulb) headlights in 88-89 trucks used 4 sealed beam h4701 and h4703 lights. In 1990 GM swapped to a composite (non-sealed beam) headlight using 9005 and 9006 bulbs and used this till production end.
Work truck grille use a single H6054 sealed beam headlight.

The only exception is the Holden Suburban from Austrailia, they received a non-sealed beam, glass lens quad headlight setup made by bosch with replaceable H4 bulbs. They are difficult to obtain, and designed for the wrong side of the road. The correct road side was made for vans and firebirds which utilize the same size light, and are also difficult to find.

All deluxe headlights will fit any deluxe grille. the 94+ grilles even have the steps for the quad sealed beam headlights. The parking lights and corner light/reflector however are different 88-93 and 94+

i have noticed the parking lights from my 88 do not properly fit into my newer style GMC grille. what im trying to say is the 94+ style has a different fitting for the headlights than the 88-93"s because my 93 has the turn it and it locks into place styke.
