I have the Flowmaster FlowFX muffler on my ‘91 K2500. It’s quieter than a normal Flowmaster, but has a nice deep rumble. I’m running the factory dual tailpipes.

Sounds nice! Single in/dual out? Cat or no?

I want the sound of the black one in the top best. I want that throaty sound.

IDK about the stutter, but I honestly love how quiet these trucks are. Maybe the stutter is an exhaust leak from the warped flange? I'd leave it how it is if I were you. You should also see an uptick in MPGs as well. I had a shop replace that exact same piece of exhaust 6 months ago and I went from 13-15 MPG to 15-17 MPG.
This is a joke by the way. I want a loud truck. because no girl has ever said I love how quiet your truck is. Haha
