I almost checked in too, was thinking, maybe you were just taking a break.
Yeah, it's not my daily driver and still got lots of parts to buy and things to rebuild. I busy myself with it whenever I feel like it. Sometimes I do; sometimes I don't. During the summer, most are going to be "I don't" days.

I do want to drive it as soon as possible, but still need to buy an engine and a dash. So, got to have a realistic timeline.

I don't think they make one for the 96-00. Just waiting on one in good condition for right price on eBay. There's one on eBay right now, but he wants $1200, plus tax of course. Little more than I wanted to spend at the moment.
$1,200 is absolutely insane

Somewhat yeah, but these dashes are getting harder to find in good condition. Also factor in cost of shipping and shipping materials, and I guess they probably need to factor in the possibility that it will arrive damaged and then the seller has to pay for the return shipping. It if were me, I wouldn't ship one of these dashes. I would only sell it for local pickup, but hey, I guess some of them have faith in UPS or FedEx not damaging it. I sure don't.

One of the eBay sellers says he actually gets the dashes from up north and I guess he brings some them down south to sell. So, that's another cost to factor in for the seller.

Well the gaskets look good. Harness stuff is always tedious.
There’s no way I’d trust anyone with shipping one of our dashes.
Nah there aren’t any aftermarket dashes, when I was looking I did see a handful in Houston that were nice but 6-800 bucks was still a little rich for me. Plus a 4 hour drive one way. Plus it’s Houston…. :Moon:
