Sickening to look at. Door frame is bent at the mirror. Car needs whole new door. Even more sickening knowing this car only had 18K on it and was garaged its whole life. She swiped the keys a second time and ran the door and mirror into my carport support. I have 2 $500 deductibles to pay on this thing. The good news is the shop I took it to is top notch. Car will be perfect when it comes back.

I'd probably try to find out who the probation officer's boss is and raise the issue to a higher level. If you happen to know a judge, DA, or even a police officer, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy bend their ear and ask what your options are. Or you could wait two weeks for her to go to the real county jail. That was a wakeup call for my son, but six years later he still has nightmares about it and had to seek counseling.

Ganna wait a few weeks and see if her teflon exterior melts off and something finally sticks. I have 2 friends that are cops at APD. I may give one of em a call. I hate to do this though. Always thought I could handle things myself, and that these people are all doing their jobs that my taxes pay them to do.

My 10 year old is hanging w me today. He is wanting to prune the shrubs. Doing a fantastic job. He's tired of her shenanigans too. He has no filter, and has told his mom, when is she going away and not coming back.

Her name is Grace, but she gave herself a prison tattoo with a pin and pen ink. She did the first 4 letters on her forearm, then I guess lost interest in the last letter i suppose. So on her arm is the name Grac with no E. I pronounce it as "Grak". All my correspondence to my wife I spell it that way. Kid is a real schmuck. Wife agrees w my sentiment. In my mind Grac is a marvel comics supervillain. It's like a big green blobby humanoid creature that shakes down people for money to eat. Get the green lantern over here!! Oh poop we need super man and wonder woman too! Grac is shaking down metropolis bank!

So about 6 months ago we got Grac a shelter pet. She is supposedly an animal lover. We figured she would bond with it, and maybe it would help. She was game for it. So she picks out a cat about a year old. Now me, I love all animals. I really missed my pup I put to sleep 2 years ago. Well Grac shows this poor sweet girl no attention except for the occasional pick her up tell her that shes cute, then put her down maybe once every few days. Other than that, shows it no affection, so this sweet little cat gravitated towards me and my wife because we pet and talk to her, and make laps for her to sit all the time. She had me at hello lol, however she has really wound my wife around her little paw too. Wife was all against any animals sleeping on the bed, guess where this little miss sleeps at night? On the bed smack next to my wife lol. Now she will lick on us and give us gentle love bites. Cat has bonded with me and my wife. I told my wife that when Grac leaves, cat stays. Grac owes me money for all the stuff she broke, but she loves money so much, I'm gonna write her a check for the cat. This way Grac can't say the cat is hers and take her. This cat doesnt even claw the furniture. She takes it out on the carpet which is fine by me. She wants to be friends with our black lab retriever mix too.

I totally sympathize with your situation and really hope better days are coming for all of you.
Always thought I could handle things myself, and that these people are all doing their jobs that my taxes pay them to do.
I would say though that with all this anti-cop/defund the police/cashless bail to try at least to see things from the police perspective. They only enforce and not create the laws and regulations, and then, how many are just being released from jail and not prosecuted, essentially cutting them(police) off at the knees. But mostly, I really feel bad for what your dealing with. I will pray for you.

When my wife and I did foster care, I was amazed at the amount of counseling and life-skills classes that parents had to complete to reunite their families. You could tell the parents who really wanted to make their lives better, but it hurt to see that they had to have their kids put into foster care. Those same resources are available to everyone for free, but nobody bothers to check it out until they're forced to. Our tax dollars pay for the counselors. You might check out what resources are available in your area. If she ends up in court, push for counseling. We worked with the foster care system for eight years, and while some DHS workers were better than others, we never ran into anybody inept, and everybody really cared about the outcome.

She is already in counseling. Been there for years. Her last one was compromised and was an enabler. She has one assigned to her now by the police department that tries to hold her to accountability, but that's pretty hard to do when the police dont do anything when she violates her probation. Wife and I see somebody ourselves just to keep ourselves sane, and our heads in the game. Nightmare is almost over. At 17 they can try her as an adult for most things. I'm sure her luck will eventually run out. She has appointment with probation officer tuesday. Wife plans to bring up the attempted theft of the $320 from this guys bank account. Probation officer may not even know about this. I'm starting to get the idea that juvenile probation, and the regular PD dont talk very much to one another.

But hey, on the bright side when the black cloud is lifted, and I can get out of this funk they call depression over all this, I will get back into doing my projects. Right now I dont find any enjoyment in any of it. I do have big plans for my GMT though. Been fine tuning what i want to do with it, and collecting up parts. Since that's the short term project, I am thinking about tackling it first.
