Might try Kelly Bluebaugh in phoenix area ph 602-435 8080 or his web site WFOracingandmachine.com He has a history of building quality engines. Hell of a machinist. Also Rick Watters racing engines in Glendale 623 780 8778.

I put several HD TBIs and HD L31s that were in the $1500-1800 range back in 2006ish.

Provided you catch them either off season or have time to wait. This time of the year they are always very busy with engines that were torn down after racing season ended.

I was going to email them and inquire if I could get this as a short block, too. I would want to add my own heads and cam. 290hp just doesn’t seem like enough.
