If you're asking how rare it is for it to come out easily? Mine came out without any problem. Then again I have had great luck on my 99 burb with stuff. Nothing has really been too stuck. The parts truck I used was a different story though.

I did a full engine replacement without anything really getting stuck. Exhaust flange bolts were the worst culprits, but a good 6 point socket on a large impact and they were good. I didn't break any exhaust studs on either sets of heads. Lucky I guess.

Not strange at all. That quick connect fitting is known for corroding and coming apart. It's supposed to look like this

I mean it came out without snapping off in the intake manifold. I already had a new fitting and hose I was just preparing to have to use the lisle tool to get the broken fitting out of the intake manifold but luckily it twisted right out. The last 2 I did broke right off.

Yea luck is on your side. The last 2 fittings I did like this broke right off in the intake manifold.

Mine came out without much of a fight - removal tool still in its packaging.
On the other side and other hand, the EGR connection to the inlet manifold.....

Mine snapped when I took it out but tap and easy-out in it and the rest came out without any more problems.
